Doe Eyes Painting

Doe Eyes my pen and ink illustrated etching. Aswell as painting and creating artwork I love photography. I will quite often go for long woodland walks with my camera and have been lucky enough to meet some stunning woodland wildlife. I managed to get quite close to this young deer, with the aid of some treats, and snapped a few photos before she ran away. I developed the colourful pen and ink illustration from one of the photographs I took. I have applied layers of ink with a soft brush and an etching applicator to thick cotton canvas. Pen and a fine paintbrush have been used to add the outline and detail. This is a fabulous miniature original presented in a antique white mount surround and an oak frame, which will hang or stand. Your investment will be packaged with care and wrapped in tissue ensuring it arrives safely.
