Acrylic on paper napkins on canvas. Sometimes the canvas is a "found object" in my work, i just have to bring it back to life, I get them from friends or finde them on the street, Usually the canvas is in very good condition sometimes as new, this time it was worn out. I repaired and glued and smeared varnishes and brought it back to life, but I must note that it is "not new". The paper napkins are the fundamental layer, on them i paint whith watery acrylic paint. I stick the paper with yachts varnish so it will be strong and durable, all the fluids are water based and the materials are absorbent, so everything becomes one. Each one of the layers are thin and fragile, together they are still transparent, but strong.

Lives in Binyamina, Israel Works in Tel Aviv Paintings - Acrylic paint & paper Napkins on Jute cloth The jute cloth - sack, connects me to simplicity, to Earth. The napkins, which I peel and use only the thin printed layer, represent a delicate, fragile and perishable beauty, They are also an industrial product that indicates a "use and throw" phenomenon. The 'horizon' reflects the real and conceptual infinity, there the unknown future awaits.
