Greetings! This web site is dedicated to my artwork – so you can see them, share with friends, and, maybe purchase them. Here’s some information about me. My name is Alexey Makarevich. I was born in November, 1973, in Siberia, in the city of Sorsk (Hakassia). There were no art classes in Sorsk, and I studied drawing by reading a magazine “A Young Artist”; the second inspiration was a famous Soviet caricature magazine “Crocodile” (I loved the genre of caricature and sketch). At last I had settled in a city of Biysk, where I spent almost 20 years. I was creating and building decorations for various city festivals and events. There was also a period of going into computer graphic and electronic drawing with a digital tablet. I illustrated three books which were published. In the city of Biysk I was graduated from a Music College with a degree in Choral Conducting and also from The Altay Academy of Culture and Arts with a diploma of Director of Public Celebrations. In 2009 I moved to Moscow with my family where I have been currently staying. In 2010 I gathered a music ensemble named BAM which I perform concerts with as a composer and a soloist. While staying in Moscow I started to discover new materials for drawing – they were not available to me back in Siberia – pastel, carbon, chalk, sanguine, sepia, markers, various types of pencils. I started to draw actively again. In a short period of time I started to sell my drawings. I had my first exhibition happened in The Central House Of Artists in Moscow in 2017. Same year I illustrated one more book. At a current moment I am performing music and make various drawings professionally. I would sincerely appreciate if you purchase some of my drawings, offer me a job, connected with music or arts, or simply support my work and projects financially.
