About The Artwork
This is the first time I played with epoxy, dripping it into the drop shaped holes. I want my shaped canvases to be anything but rectangular, just because its fun and modern. But also because they often fit in a place better than a canvas, like in a small spot between two doors. The large mdf are a soft beige matte color and the epoxy are shiny and crystal clear. I like that combo of shine with matte. The mdf consists of two laser cut pieces, I glued together to be able to fill epoxy in. Signed on the back.

Danish artist and pattern designer. My paintings are hand shaped, CNC cut or laser cut mdf/plywood in my shared studio. Sometimes I add epoxy for the shine and matte look together. I don't think it is hip to be square, so my wall hangings are always shaped.. That can also be handy, since they can fit in different places, like between two close doors. I always add some A5 cards with my pattern design with purchases.
