Hundreds of drops create a series of concentric circles for this colorful "emotional target". The painting has been realized with acrylics colors and epoxy resin, according to my personal treatment. Signed on the front - gallery frame, sides painted - ready to hang. 50 x 50 x 4 cm

I’m a professional graphic designer and artist and I live in Bologna. Favorite mediums are the acrylic colors often combined with epoxy resin. I really appreciate the epoxy resin as it's able to maintain, once solidified, all the charm and the transparency of a liquid, fixing its fluidity over time. My approach to painting, and artistic creation in general, is quite minimalist. I use a limited palette, often focusing more on the glossy-matte contrast of the surfaces than on the colors. Combining the variations of the reflexivity of a surface in a balanced way means giving the right tribute to the magic of light: each angle of incidence and each reflection can provide a new way of perceiving the work. In my works the black color often occurs on the backgrounds: I think it as an ideal mirror to reflect a state of mind in deep intimacy. I consider mine a “proto-painting” made of simple, archaic, basic forms but with a universal value: I’m comfortable painting with my personal style, made of repetitive and obsessive gestures. THE FOAM The foam, which I reproduce iconically in my works, is a tribute to the apparent entropy of reality: at first glance, it appears simply disordered but on the contrary, it is a complex structure subject to very strict rules. I am fascinated by the empty-full alternation in the foam, the infinitely small, which is subject to the same laws of physics as the infinitely large. I don’t pretend to represent a world in every single bubble, but by multiplying a single bubble by an infinite number of times you could get a good model for defining universal laws.
