Obra que aborda el drama del hombre moderno actual. A través de una iconografía religiosa -ecce homo- se representa el sufrimiento del hombre, utilizando una cadena alimentaria de animales como símbolo de la violencia que genera el instinto de supervivencia del ser humano. El hombre de forma indolente parece aceptar esa violencia. Estéticamente la obra se inpira en el arte barroco español y el renacimiento alemán (Diego Ribera, Valdés Leal, Grünewald, Lucas Cranach…)
