ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work in inspired by cellular function and its replication of a collective personal experience. Exocytosis is the process by which the contents of a cell vacuole are released to the exterior through fusion of the vacuole membrane with the cell membrane. It serves to remove toxins from the cell interior, facilitate cellular communication and growth. Or as I like to call it: wine and whine with my friends. This piece has the ebb flow of a conversation that is both therapeutic and restorative with transparent layers and opaque applications of oil paint to create movement and interest across the surface. This piece will come ready to hang with D rings and picture wire.
