ABOUT THE ARTWORK
From time to time, I like to come back to a bright red/pink background and pursue further the flower theme, which is the case with these two latest works, Empreinte 9 and Empreinte 10. Over the last 2 years, I have privileged acrylic paint over oil for its quicker drying time, which allows me to move a little faster in my explorations. More recently, I have also come back to making my own colors with dry pigments so that I get the exact intended result.
