ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a diptych (two square panels which can be hung side by side, flush, or leaving a space in between) forming a connected composition. In this abstract collage style work there are suggested architectural references with free floating forms in the imaginary space. I wanted to stay clear of strong bold colours and create a soft bright piece applying various shades of white with light blues and greens. My main objective is to evoke a mood or feeling and the title suggested itself after the work was finished.
