Fascinated by the myriad manifestations of energy, Giorgio Vaselli has pledged allegiance to the Galaxy to rechannel its awesome power through the portals he summons to earthly walls. As an energetic surrealist, he deciphers levels of the reality matrix in meditatively levitative states, and captures the result on the canvas. The intensity of his art parallels that of his life. From day one without a moment of rest, turbulence has been his involuntary game. It fuels his romantic passion, his positive light on life, as much as its darker shadows, and most of all his burning expressive desire - all radiating off his imagery. He delights in collecting as much as creating, fusing like art from all over the globe as the progressive Energy Art Movement. "Most of all values, I believe in that of the great Old Masters... Yet I consider the achievements of modernists equally significant, in their trials of broadening the fields of abstract invention and expression... I am determined to incorporate their teachings into my way of painting, through an energetic and dynamic view of reality, enriched by the expressivity of abstraction. Lately I have arrived at a clear preference in my inner visuality, for realism in the abstract and the abstraction-enhanced surreal realms. With this newfound idea... I primarily plan to explore and portray interdimensionality. Via meditation and spontaneous insight, I wish to depict worlds between integral dimensions, and scenes of dimensions superposed."
