About The Artwork
Mixed media exploration in texture and colour utilising techniques of print and flow, using brush and pallet knife and spray. This piece was created after a visit to the dunes on fuertaventura during a sand storm,where the sand felt as though it was trying to capture people, hence the bars which reveal the bare texture.

I was born and grew up in Leeds and now currently live in a small village approx 10 miles from york. I studied art at school and continued with "A" art and art history in college concentrating on M.C.Esher and Van Gogh as initial influences and attended courses on photography and photo development. I also qualified as a carpenter and enjoy wood carving. I built myself a purpose built studio to paint in and the majority of the works I have displayed on Saatchi have been produced in there.
