Perhaps this is the most mysterious work of all that I have done during the work on the project ‘Semiosis of Meta-Abstract Symbols / Phenomenology of Freedom’. The idea for this artwork came about quite unexpectedly. After the concept of the violet rhombus was developed in some of my previous works (tetraptych - https://niyazmamedov.com/category/underground/page/2/ & www.niyazmamedov.com/art-signs/#21-12-2020 ) as an artistic form of space in which such an abstract concept as value was formed, I suddenly noticed that the iconic sign representing such financially successful Norwegian oil giant as Equinor consists of rhombuses as well, moreover - in the form of a concentrated set of rhombuses of intense red color. Against the background of the semantic meaning of the purple rhombus which had already been revealed to me, this looked more than intriguing. Was it an accidental coincidence, or was this the intention of the authors, who consciously sought the absolute form of a sigil? I don't know the answer so far. I intuitively placed their red iconic sign inside my violet rhombus, derived from the above-mentioned tetraptych in an attempt to gain access to the understanding the secret of Equinor. The outlines of the peripheral meanings-controlling signs, embodying a distortion/inconceivability of access to the comprehension of the secret, arose in my mind by themselves obviously demonstrating the difficulty of revealing the secret meaning encoded in it. Of course, if any access to this enigma exists at all. Inconceivability of Access turned out to be the work in which my Theory of Peripheral Meanings-Controlling Signs - www.niyazmamedov.com/art-signs#17-02-2016 - was very harmoniously applied to the concept of the artwork.
