Expected complicity between the moss and the River Painting

"Expected complicity between the moss and the River" was painted in 2011 in oil on rigid canvas. The subject of the two little girls who are about to dive into the Trebbia River and try to convince the little girl in front of them, the fear, the suspense, the little girl's retraction, the quick, flowing brushstrokes, detach themselves from the darkness around them by loading their meaning. Perhaps the crucial moment, it is risking together, and the important thing or the real subject is that pause in the darkness between the little one's hand and body. I would like to stop and communicate the impression that the embrace of nature causes in humans and give a feeling of ecstasy, always leaving a margin of mystery. With a style that ranges from expressive or immediate brushstrokes, to blending or letting the color drip, I feel the need to create enveloping atmospheres, works that excite without shamelessness and that go beyond the decorative aesthetic requirement. The painted canvas is mounted on panel and framed maintaining a harmonious monochromatic transition, on the different materials between the rigid canvas, the layered paper in the passepartou and the wood of the frame. This painting belongs to the 2012-2022 Bagliori Series and was exhibited in the 2022 Bagliori Solo Show at Celestina Gallery in Fidenza Parma Italy, it is accompanied on the back by the Signature and the Certificate of Authenticity.
