"Fading Memories" Painting

Hi! my name is Uliana and I am an artist passionately in love with my work.

Uliana Sal is a professional abstract artist, born in a small town beyond the Arctic Circle and now residing in Budva, Montenegro. Among the numerous group exhibitions in which Uliana has participated, it is worth mentioning her involvement in the Tretyakov Gallery's "Talents of Russia" exhibition in Moscow and the "Woman Balancing Our World", MoRA Museum, exhibition in NJ, USA.

Uliana's artworks are held in private collections in Montenegro and Italy. As a part of the Artseeker Gallery team, she promotes and popularizes the art of young artists in the global art market.

Uliana is an abstract artist who prefers to work with acrylic on canvas. Uliana's works are inspired by the natural world, mountains, and the bold colors of digital media. Her art is an exploration of the boundless possibilities of abstraction, where colors and shapes become tools for influencing the viewer's mood. Through abstraction, Uliana encourages us to break free from stereotypes and boundaries, and to look at art with fresh eyes.

Uliana is passionate about environmental issues, the preservation of wildlife, and the protection of domestic animals. She regularly contributes to animal shelters.

Artist Statement:
In my work, I explore the delicate balance between humanity and nature, often drawing upon abstract mountain landscapes as central themes. Mountains, for me, are symbols of immensity and permanence, towering over human existence. Their grandeur serves as a reminder of our vulnerability in the face of nature’s strength. Yet, with every step we take, every camera click, and every road we pave, human progress encroaches on these landscapes, signaling inevitable change. Who, in the end, is stronger—the resilience of nature or the force of human influence?

I use acrylic and bold, sometimes surreal colors to represent a world where mountains remain untouched, thriving in an imagined reality. My paintings invite viewers to reflect not only on their visual impact but on the fragility of the natural world, urging them to consider our responsibility to preserve it. Through my work, I hope to create a space where nature’s beauty and strength remain undisturbed, even if only in our imagination.
