Fantastic Landscape Painting

Born 1956 in Berlin, I work in series with different themes. In former series I studied, how the inner space of paintings, the moving of brushes and the use of colour gives an idea of floating cosmos which embraces the bodies. Actually my interest is to work with the different artificial kinds of landscape, as carthograhc signs show us. Landscape as methapher for beeing, living and as the materialization of existencialistic phenomens. painterWOLFGANG SIANO, ART HISTORIAN, "PRINCESS BLUE" (extract):In the light of color, the body seems to be its own cosmic reality, almost like a belated optimistic answer to Pascal's desperation about the finiteness of his body compared to the endlessness of the nothing and the universe.Sabine Schneider realizes the personal source of memory of her painted bodies out of the experience of separation of closeness and distance as a possibility to freedom for themselves in the spaces between them. The blue of the princess lives in the diversity and the dynamics of its refractions.
