These fantastic musicians were performing at one of my favourite bars in Santa Teresa, Rio de Janeiro. They were so full of passion and soul and were a true reflection of the diversity of Brazilian music. I use a limited palette of colours to create a warmth and vibrancy in my paintings, as well as consistency in schematic colour.
