About The Artwork
When I visited my brother living in Brazil, I spent several days in Rio, enjoying the great views of this unique city. This painting is a reflex of that experience. The title refers to the little favela on the left, where Michael Jackson shot his video "They don't care about us". The "450" , written centered below, refers to the 450th anniversary of the city in 2015. In the lowest part of the painting, there are the numbers 44000956 in red. This is my signature. The same in all my works.
