About The Artwork
"Fear Hath Torment." Inspired by study of the Holy Scriptures. This work depicts natural fear's torment, rather than spiritual fear. Reference I John 4:18 King James Version of the Holy Scriptures. I hope to make viewers aware that every human has some kind of fear, even if it is for another's well being, but self-preservation fear elicit very memorable verbal and facial expressions. I am not comfortable with Spiders, but can tolerate their visible presence. Proverbs 30:28 applauds the spider's abilities. I love their wisdom, web technology, colors and patterns. Oil paint is my most challenging medium, so I push myself to use it often.
