Feeling Blue is inspired by those moments in between where you want silence but your thoughts crowd. Dreams and worries collide. Just breathe, you heave everything you need. All is well This painting is currently stretched on gallery wrapped canvas but I will remove it from stretcher bars and ship it in a tube. This reduces the weight and cost of building a crate and thus lowers the price for you. When the painting arrives unroll carefully and bring to a framer to be stretched. If you want the painting pre stretched and crated contact Saatchi before adding to cart. Thank you.

My current work is driven by my interest in the restorative power of beauty and how it is perceived. I am asking the question: Does the world embody beautiful ideas? What is symmetry, what is the memory of a beautiful feeling, how does that relate to mortality and anxiety? My work is by no means an answer but an exploration of the questions. within my compositions you will find a variety of abstracted natural elements because we contain horizons, storms, gardens, vacant buildings, flowers, animals and faces and new beginnings within us. When we honour them we can come into rhythm in our own lives. Nature is my cathedral, it is where I find inspiration.
