“Female art?” Painting

By closed forms I mean already established ready-made forms of perception. Forms devoid of plasticity, which are a sign, symbol, stereotype and set the context. In this topic, I am most interested in the material, inorganic attributes of life. Which, in my opinion, can so define a person in the perception of another that they are able to erase the person himself. I am interested in how a soul, individuality leaves the main position and becomes the background, and in its place there are selected objects endowed with human functions or feelings. In this series, I explore the relationship between organic and non-organic. Collecting my impressions of the work "Feminine Art", which I originally wanted to call "Heavy Suite", I noticed a rarity of questions: "Who is sitting here?", "Is there a woman or a man?", "What is the story of this man?" The most expressive comment that prompted me to rename the work was: "Reminiscent of female art." This commentary very accurately expresses the tendency of human perception to navigate quickly. To urgently understand, name and categorize. Experimenting, I try to slow myself down, stay longer in confusion and try to get interested in what is in front of me. And I call on the viewer not to rush with me. Take a little time to feel, play, and then guess who could be in this chair, what is it like to sit there, what kind of atmosphere or life story is it? Is it possible to be born to something new in the audience's meeting with the work?
