About The Artwork
DIGITAL ART - Pixel sculpting - Digital painting Constantly questioning the meaning of existence and decoding soul purpose I'm trying to dematerialise, to strip the layers of my beliefs. Who we are, what are we? Are we the code with all our fine fibers of memories, transcripted messages trough ancestors experiences, past lives, a divine materialisation... My work is based on -information mix- of the latest theories in physics, astrology, sociology, psychology, all mashed up trough my view of reality. Work I create is basically illustrated thoughts, like a hologram of a theory that my mind is creating. It's like constantly opening a new door of enlightenment. So it's kind of therapeutic, puzzling out information and letting my soul echoes trough. This image is created by digitally exposing to light selected surface areas. Strategically picking them from nothingness and changing their appearance by exposing them to light mind connects answers, while the image itself emerges from the background. When I'm working on themes like this the trance-like euphoria takes over. The clues imprinted are enough for compleating realisation and start the new one.

Milica Jovic is an Architect, Artist&Designer. She was born in Serbia on November 12, 1978, Niš, where she graduated on Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture -University of Niš, and earned Master of Architecture degree. She lives and works in Budva Montenegro as an Architect. Her artwork is based on decoding human spirit and represents her willingness to dig deep into secret mechanisms operating on her inner computer. Her work is dedicated to media research, experience of reality in symbolic and narrative structures. Through digital art she is in constant search for harmony and fulfillment and limitless potential of the human spirit. Years of experience in the field of digital technologies and tools that provide us with the modern means of communication helped her in architecture and interior design as well as with the research and her artwork on illustrations and powerful messages they convey. She is using digital tools to provoke questions that are necessary on the path of self-realization and coping with her own truth.
