The "paperplaining" technique developed by Ahmed Borai allows the artist to spontaneously paint on newspaper. The painted newspapers are graphically collaged on cardboard. Collage - Montage | Painting with fragments of "daily news". there is no way around art, art is the way projects - artrecycle | paperplaining | collaboration with artists Since 1994 I am coordinating the project "artrecycle"- global network - drawings on paper - recycling of art. "Give the paintings a second chance"- drawings, destined for the trash - the "forgotten paintings" are collected and used as material for collages, objects or installations. The technique "paperplaining" allows a wet colour application on newspaper. After the desiccation of the different art-materials, the newspaper is flat and protected. I love the lightness of paper, my favoured art material for paintings, collages, culptures and installations. Mostly I am working on those projects - artrecycle and paperplaining - collaboration with artists. Through the cooperation with other artists I have developed the idea of "collages of individual ideas".
