I have been exhibited in solo and group shows in galleries and museums throughout the mid-Atlantic region, including the Muscarelle Museum of Art, the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA. My work is part of the permanent collection of the Muscarelle Museum and received a Showcase Award for 2003 on line at ManhattanArts.com.
In 1997 my work took a direction that has occupied me to the present. A sheet of paper, usually the same size as the finished image, is torn into five to seven pieces to form a kind of puzzle. These pieces are used as templates to create shapes and edges along with layers and sections of color that become interesting compositions to me.
