Artwork Title: FLORAL FRENZY Year: 2021 Size: 20"×24" canvas board Medium: Thick layers of Acrylic + Fluro Acrylics (glows under black lights) + permanent markers. Gloss Varnished. Description SHE WAS A WOMAN OF MANY COLOURS , COLOURS OF LOVE and HOPE. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY SHE WAS A WOMAN OF FAITH . " The bright and cheerful web of florals done in an almost comic/ cartoonish style depicts this quote that I strongly believe in . The work not only aims to evoke the childhood memories of gay abandon in the viewer, but also provides the much needed cheering one needs in days of gloom. Swipe to see 'FLORAL FRENZY' , shortlisted for the International Art and Design Exhibit DE.MO( Milan/ Feurteventura) Sept' 21, in various light settings. It has strategically added glow under Blacklight acrylics and Fluro Acrylics which make the work stand out and change colours according to the light it receives throughout the day . This work is part of my experimental series. Do swipe and see the magic of changing colours and effects...

Ishrat Nazneen (NAZISH) , a self taught contemporary abstract "Art Practitioner" based in Hyderabad , India. The artistic journey of "self- discovery" began in 2017 when she started practicing ART as therapy . Her abstracts are mostly intuitive, experimental and evocative . She translates her response to feelings and thoughts which emerge from her reflections and contemplations surrounding her life events and situations onto the blank canvas. She describes herself as an "INTUITIVE EXPRESSIONIST" , experimenting with various mediums and materials to create art that speaks for itself . "My Art practice is what keeps me sane and I love exploring arts ability to provide a safe space for contemplation and peace. It's practice has given me a new direction to explore as an intuitive abstract artist. Being a self taught art practitioner, I've learnt through trial and error and I love the beauty of intuitiveness , as one paints according to the state of mind one is in at that moment. The creations generate an interrogative contemplation with its viewer and connect at a deeper level. I firmly believe in giving back to the society and work at grass root levels to help the underprivileged in and around my area/community working towards their upliftment - especially focusing on women empowerment . I donate a percentage of my profits to the causes I support." Please feel free to contact me directly for installation views, general enquiries or bespoke commissions at my email id:
