Hello friends! Today, I want to share with you a new author's oil painting - orchid on a black background, which I called "Flower Heart", dimensions 60/70 cm. It was an exciting process, I tried to convey the beauty and power of these flowers. Orchids are flowers of luxury, sensuality and grace. I chose pink and purple to show the diversity and harmony between them. The black background gives the picture contrast and dynamics. And the transparent vase is a symbol of the unification of two different orchids. The painting is painted in the technique of multilayer painting, with glazing. She also used the gradient technique, which made it possible to create a smooth transition between the colors of paints. Thanks to this, the purple flowers turned out to be tender and elegant. The sides of the picture are covered with oil in black. Hinges are made on the back of the picture, which allows you to immediately hang the picture on the wall, in any suitable place in your home. My name is Ekaterina. I am an artist now, but I didn’t start out that way. I loved drawing from an early age, so in addition to attending regular school during the day, I also went to art school in the evenings. After finishing school, I went to college to study medicine, and then pursued higher education in this field because I wanted to help people. After 8 years of working in the medical field, I decided to take art seriously because I realized that I couldn’t go on without it. The birth of my children also had a significant impact on this responsible step. I completely immersed myself in the study of oil painting, and have been doing what I love for 7 years now.
