ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting was painted at the Podmoklovo estate during the festival of Russian music. Fantastic holiday atmosphere. Pouring rain. I came with my family. The son ached. The husband hurried home. They wanted to go home. Suddenly I met a woman with a huge bouquet. She offered to draw together. We set to work. Everything went smoothly right away. Rain stopped. The family found something to do. In nature, I made a sketch for this picture. And later performed in a large format workshop The incredible beauty of what is happening swept everyone. And the contrast of the baroque temple with a real village, with wildflowers in a bucket, the simple joys of a summer weekend. Canvas on a wooden stretcher. The ends are painted. Hello! My name is Maria Barkovskaya i am a professional artist and architect. I have two main directions in my work: Paintings in the Russian style about rituals, dresses, primordial traditions. Almost every year with my illustrations, the Slavic calendar is published. The paintings reflecting the diversity of our beautiful world are landscapes. It turned out that many people are interested in this topic, but do not know where to start. So I started organizing art trips, gathering like-minded people for joint trips to the open air.
