ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Forrest" is a soft abstract expressionist acrylic painting on canvas by artist Mercedes Lopez Charro, a trusted seller of watercolour illustrations since 2016. Mercedes lives close to the ocean there is a walk way thru a small forrest to arrive at the beach, this art represents the journey. The soft palette includes white, pale pink, pale blue, turquoise green, robin's egg blue, cream, soft grey and golden metallic that catch the light in a subtle way. The expanses of soft color, the different thicknesses of brushstrokes, and the layers all help create movement and depth.
