The story behind the painting: “Hope” is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all And sweetest in the Gale is heard And sore must be the storm That could abash the little Bird That kept so many warm I’ve heard it in the chillest land And on the strangest Sea Yet, never, in Extremity, It asked a crumb of Me.” (Emily Dickinson) Rendered Jewels collection: In my Rendered Jewels I explore a deeper part of my psyche, featuring realistic and figurative portraits, mixing them with abstractly formed lines and forms, intuitive colourful splashes, colour transitions, and Magic Light®. I use both realism and abstraction to express the ideas I accumulate from the Universe and combine it with what is going on inside me, inside my soul. I am intrigued by the fleeting balance between strength and fragility, tranquility, action, connection in the universe, nature, and the human mind. My paintings are inspired by my spiritual and philosophical search for answers to life, the purpose of living, love, existence. Every painting I create is a piece of my artistic answer to those “searches”. I use mixed media and Magic Light® so that the paintings glow in the dark and the "unseen" is revealed. What is hidden at daytime secretly reveals itself at night in the intimacy and privacy of the viewer’s world.

"TO ME A PIECE OF ART IS A CONNECTION TO MY SOUL, MY FEELINGS, MY LIFE JOURNEY, AND MY DREAMS." (Aria Dellcorta) My world consists of paints and brushes, forms, colors, shapes, and magical moments. When I paint, everything around me just stops… the world decomposes, and there is nothing in existence. It is just me plugged into the connection of a never-ending source of ideas flowing through my soul and the painting process begins. I have two parallel collection of paintings; "Rendered Jewels" and "Energizers". In both collections I use abstraction and color harmony to express the ideas I accumulate from the Universe and combine them with what is going on inside me and my soul. "Energizers" are "Rendered Jewels" in even more abstract form. I am intrigued by the fleeting balance between strength and fragility, tranquility, action, connection in the universe, nature, and the human mind. Every painting I make is a piece of my artistic answer to those “searches”. I use mixed media and Magic light, so most of my paintings glow in the dark and the "unseen" reveals. The excellent knowledge of different materials allows me to use mixed media technique and achieve unique effects. For the past few years I have constantly been traveling between Slovenia and Switzerland. They are both my homes, where I live, get inspired and create art.
