About The Artwork
I was inspired by my travels to the monasteries of Athos, paintings in temples and palaces in Greece and Italy. The art of painting and mosaics of the ancient Greek period and Byzantium. Why fragments, you ask? Because it is they that form the basis of the restored work, it is according to them and with their help that the wall painting is restored. While at the tomb of Philip II, the king of ancient Greece, the father of Alexander the Great, nicknamed Macedonian, I was fascinated by the fragments of the mural dating from BC, my emotions that day prompted me to create a series of paintings Frescoes.
