About The Artwork
I was the "Musical exhibitor" on the norwegian premier of Miss Saigon 2009. I had to work thematical on every scene of the musical, There was only a little challenge, I had never seen the muscial, and it was taken off Broadway and London. However, I managed to produce this exhibiton by watching the movie "Acopalypse now", reading the manuscript a thousand times, Puccini's "Madame butterfly" (which the operas is based on), and listening to the soundtrack of the musical. I basically managed to put myself in the "middle of the Vietnam war..and the extraordinary lovestory of Kim and Chris. Sensing every inch of their fear, hope, anxiety and sadness. Thank God, there's music. :)
