"From the Earth" Painting

The edges are rough and uneven as you may see in the photos above When I drive to a town not too far from where we live, I always pass through agricultural fields with their crop rows stretching off into the distance. Living in a major agricultural area, I have plenty of opportunities to see different fields for painting. I’ve always been fascinated by perspective, and painting these landscapes allows me to express that perspective while keeping them as landscapes. There is an abstract quality to these scenes. When I start a landscape painting, I often use acrylics. I love how they dry quickly, letting me lay layers and textures without waiting. Acrylic painting suits my style of impressionist art, where I capture the essence of a scene rather than its details. My work often reflects abstract landscapes, where the focus is on emotional art and expressive painting. Each piece becomes art with feeling, where the landscape itself takes on a new life. Creating large-scale art is my passion. There’s something about working on a big canvas that lets me explore landscapes and dramatic skies.
