About The Artwork
This is part of my series "Strategies for Present Day Life". Memories of the childhood games of marbles, where players are asked to "play by the rules" prompted this abstract painting on cradled wood panel. Rules are discarded by many who operate in the world today. The scattered marbles suggest the difficulty of getting into the "inner circle" where the winners are located. The sides of the cradled wood panel are plain birch wood. This painting does not framing.
