Gaping mouth Painting

This painting explore a body strictly reduced to the level of the physical, detached from depth of meaning. Surfaces are regarded as a continuity and orifices and folds as interruptions of that continuity. The allusion to the body in its crude form is supported by existentialist account of reality which places things as mere stuff, as they only exist just by merely being there. In this sense, things are too much themselves and thus, in their excessive form cannot longer signify.
