About The Artwork

One of my largest beaded paintings! This piece consists of a very dimensional bead-embroidery on canvas. I used Czech glass seed beads for the body of the train in sizes 11 & 15. I also used computer circuit boards for its side panels. These are surrounded in seed beads using a freeform peyote stitch. Other materials include: clear vinyl, black & white vinyl, rubber washers & T-nuts (from the hardware store) for the wheels, vintage crystals, and canvas paper.. The beadwork is supported by an acid-free matte board structure that was stitched to the back of the felt. The entire trolley measures 18.5” x 6” x 1.5” deep. Media: glass seed beads, acrylics, mixed media Dimensions: 24" x 48" (61cm x 122cm)
