Original graphic and contemporary work in mixed media : pigments, acrylic, sand and oil pastels on linen canvas mounted on a wooden frame. This composition is based on a chromatic dialogue between two shades of blue (ultramarine and light blue-gray) and ochre and pink tones. The shapes are constructed and graphically balanced. "Finding balance, harmony and unity in shapes and colors is my challenge when I create my paintings. I start by thinking about the compositions and work out little sketches that I call 'skeletons' because they are the backbone of my work." The painting is not framed, but ready to hang on the wall safely and easily. Although protected by a transparent anti-UV varnish, it is always recommended not to display paintings in direct sunlight. This work is not suitable for wet rooms such as bathrooms and shower rooms, nor for outdoor use.

Cécile Valle's painting is centered on abstract compositions, a search for balance endangered by freer, more spontaneous rhythms. She is influenced by what she reads, travels and feels. "Giving meaning to the eye and giving it a choice of interpretation. At the bend of symbols, let the mind define. Let gesture flow freely and spontaneously within a composed, reassuring chronology. Step back and take a closer look." C.Valle Creative process: Cécile Valle begins by creating small sketches in notebooks, which she calls "skeletons" because they form the backbone of her work. Once the composition has been selected, she prepares her canvas and sketches the structure of the composition succinctly in charcoal. Then she begins to work on her colors and materials. Cécile uses pigments extensively, as well as acrylics, inks, graphite and oils.
