The first President of the United States (series to come) He was a Virginia farmer before his military career began. Cotton was a staple of agriculture grown on the backs of slaves. He was an exceptional leader who would have banned this practice had it been left up to him. The ashes(wood) are indicative of both the harsh living conditions of that time as well as the slash and burn techniques used in wars.

In short, I was born in Columbia, S.C in 1968. I've been an artist the entire time. I took art lessons throughout my schooling and winning many art contests. Upon graduation I attended the University of South Carolina obtaining a B.A in studio art in 1991. After graduation I took portrait lessons from Ted Gorka. I painted and drew representational art up until college where abstracts took over my narrative. I've lived and studied in L.A and New York City.
