Glacier de Glace Painting

I live and paint in Vienna. Since I was a child, I grew up with art, as my grandmother was a well-known painter with exhibitions locally and internationally. I have a BS in interior design, giving me years of study in both art and design. These concepts are the very foundations of my art. Within interior design, my strengths are spatial design, AutoCAD/drafting, and lighting. Although these concepts flow into my art and remain a constant part of me, I break it down using deconstructionism. In doing that, I translate myself into each and every individual artwork. In my pure Abstractions I use a mix of chemical reactions and movement so each piece can not be duplicated and is a one of a kind. In my Abstract Portraits I try to capture the emotion we all feel and uses mixed media on canvas giving it a tactical texture. I have lived in many places as diverse as Luanda, Angola to now Vienna, Austria. This has allowed me not only to experience many different cultural perspectives but also to become a part of them, which gives me a distinctive view of the world and the art and cultures within it. I love to not only travel but to experience each moment embraced throughout my journey.
