A painting from my series for the #artistsupportpledge. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, artists around the world have found themselves without work or the opportunity to exhibit. This initiative, thought up by Matthew Burrows (instagram: ), has enabled artists to continue to work by offering affordable art and then pledging to purchase a piece of work when they reach £1,000 in sales. This is keeping art moving and artists supported - brilliant! I endeavour to create images that express darkness but also light, hope and new beginnings.
