ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I have always been fascinated by the sky. It's constantly changing - seeming alive. These abstract landscapes are created with a palette knife. Some layers are added thick and impasto, and others are added by applying the paint, then scraping it off, revealing the color underneath. This is one painting in a series of abstract landscapes dealing with the spirit realm. This one, 'Glory', speaks visually of God's majesty and creativity.

Nathan's work ranges from abstract to representational. He takes on a lot of commissioned projects, both abstract and representational. The spirit realm is his muse. Most of his work deals with the spirit realm whether it be representational or abstract in nature. Nathan is also a painting instructor. When not painting, he spends time with his 2 boys exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
