Glow Of Beauty Painting

This piece was inspired by my fascination with the beauty and strength within a woman's face, how shadows fall onto the face enhancing the absorbing and intense nature of eyes and the mouth. I am hugely excited when I produce acrylic paintings of faces with vivid colours to show power and emotions through these paintings and my aim is for the viewer to feel the strength from within and appreciate the power that women hold. I use Acrylic paints direct from the tube and build layers onto the painting to enhance the vibrancy and make tones with the colours underneath being able to show through. Acrylic paint dries fast and allows me to layer quickly so doesn't restrict my creative mood.
