About The Artwork
This is the view of the little village Gnesta in Sweden, as seen from across the lake from Södertuna Castle. It was a cold day in January. The air was damp, and the village was calm. Watercolour on paper (Arches). I added a tad of golden ink on the clouds where the sun touched them. This is the second of three paintings I made of the view that day.
