The moon glows within the black glitter sky, a parade of metamorphosis chunders between the mountain tops in an effortless whisp towards a disappearance as quick as smoke in the dark. The headless birds, the faceless boys, the walrus, the luck dragon, the tiny monks bowing incessantly across the ice to the tiny settlement crumbling left at the bottom. A strange glistening whisper of an icy night, silence but intent. A place you can retreat to with purpose and companionship. A quest taken for all the deranged, against the odds, rebels fleeing for a better land. Poetry and limericks taunt these painted flickers, hankering for new mysterious traits and idiosyncrasies to develop and grow from simple marks. The smoother and more confident the mark, the more pronounced is the Japanese influence adorned upon this English rose. Clare opens out and shouts of her heritage with a confused bewilderment and a curiosity of anything but the muted winter tones of an English grey/green countryside.
