This work is inspired by my "Strata" series where I paint one layer over another trying to convey the changing nature of things. In the end, all we see is the surface, but there is much more behind it, there is a story in each person, each object, each landscape. Layer upon layer I seek to capture the impermanent quality of matter. Strata is about the passage of time, about life, about the layers and deposits that form on objects, about people.

The work is rich in textures, rough and strong in some parts, soft and delicate in others. Splatter and calligraphy techniques are used to add depth and meaning to the piece. It is especially decorative, and is designed to enhance the qualities and value of the space where it is located.

It can be placed in any vertical or horizontal direction, which gives greater strength to the idea of change and impermanence, although in the photograph I show the arrangement that I consider optimal.

When I paint, I seek to channel the profound connection I feel with life, people, and the myriad of emotions and sensations that define our existence. With just a few brushstrokes, I aim to convey my inner world—my moods, emotions, and thoughts—creating a bridge between my experiences and the viewer's perception. Each color I use is a fragment of memory, a whisper from the past, and simultaneously, a spark of new emotion and energy. I believe that the right painting has the power to alter one's mood and, in doing so, transform the surrounding world. My art is an invitation to feel, to connect, and to see the world through a lens of introspection and emotional resonance.
