Went for a run, but didnt set off until 3pm, in the mid winter this meant the light was starting to go, especially since I was stopping to take photos as I went. The whole hill was bathed in a kind of pink glow, weird. I had to follow the dog to get home in the dark and Steve set off in the car to find me! Medium: Oil on canvas. I've worked in the textile industry as a carpet designer and in the the outdoors industry. I have always painted, and since 2009 . . . more seriously. I try to combine my love of the outdoors, when running & cycling with my love of colour. My current work is landscape, inspired by the moorland runs I do with friends or with the dog. I learn something with every piece I produce as my work progresses. I love it!
