The form of this abstract painting is drawn from the landscapes of the Peak District, with a color palette inspired by the captivating hues of the northern lights, resulting in beautiful emerald tones. I wanted the painting to capture the essence of the natural world, evoking the tranquil yet dynamic spirit of the landscape. In the process of creating this painting, the canvas was turned sideways, allowing for the incorporation of paint drips—a signature element in my abstract works.
