This painting of an afternoon on the Hudson River is part of a series of what I call “Air Paintings”. These paintings are done on a sheet of plexiglass, and give the appearance of the painting surface floating in space since they project two inches from the wall. They do not require framing as they are mounted on wooden supports which are wired for hanging.
