Halong Bay Painting

This is inspired in the Halong Bay Area Landscape. Is part of a collection of 19 pieces of a series called Earth. I got inspired in the landscape, the colors, beauty and peace of the landscape. For me this painting, is the relationship of us humans with nature, with this earth, in this case Vietnam, we let ourselves marvel of the greatness of the earth itself. For me is the game that we play in life with this universe, with life, with the canvas, and the painting.. we try to manipulate, to control, at the same time, we need to stop and let the canvas and life tell you what it trying to tell you, what the painting itself wants to be, then you intervene again, and the game goes on until you you become the best version of yourself, the best version of the painting at that moment. This piece is a special work of the collection, I was inspired one on one, I was there myself with my most loved ones. It is a triptych, it also symbolizes the universe, one piece can be seen alone and it is complete as itself, but also is part of this great universe that we all humans are part of. Triptychs are also a challenge due to the large format and the number of pieces that form it, so it does not loose connection between them.
