This is a process driven piece done by layering various media in a call and response method moving around the canvases in various configurations until finally settling into a composition both simply alluring and complex. This gestural painting was developed quickly, shifting through time and experience, responding to both formal and intuitive concerns as each is considered. The color is difficult to capture so I include it in various places around the studio. For reference, the light orange mark in open space is florescent artist marker.
