Germany
JuliBo is a visual artist from Kiel, Germany. She has exhibited her works in shows and art fairs. Some of her works are part of a foundation collection in Kiel and exhibited on a steady basis in many Locations. JuliBo lives and works in Kiel and – during summer – in a small village in Provence/ France close to Avignon. Sea-gull feather, ink, in black and white. Hard contrast and aspirated lines. Pinfeather lines interwoven as a labyrinth of life. A statement of power, desire and memories waiting to be discovered. „For me, art is a living process, reproducing the moment as well as the universe. The cycle of life and death. The connection between vitality and fragility – without any contrast. The paradox of life.“ Each of her works has its own organism – hidden faces, glances, dark fields, unknown spaces. They never reveal their complete structure. They go beyond the form. The usual is deconstructed, the solidified is shifted. The observer is invited to literally get a picture by themselves. To take the time to piece together the black and the white inside themselves to compose a colourful picture. Each work has its own melody. Its own dynamics. The abstraction throws the observer back onto his own perception, his own experience, his own wisdom, his own view on human beings, life and art. „I want to invite the observer and incite him to get a picture himself. Only this makes the work whole.“
