ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is the companion painting to "She Is The Night". Quite literally, you could say these two were meant for each other. The original concept came from when I was looking for a new way to continue my "Out of the Woods" series. I decided to create a woman composed of her hair and shirt, but her face and body would be replaced by a nighttime sky with a crescent moon hovering above some pine trees. I enjoyed painting that one so much that I decided to do my own strange male version. Same concept. And a very funky result and when you see the two together, it's quite stunning, especially in person!
